I get it, people get mad that HAAS did the smart thing and isn’t pushing the envelope too hard. And though there is definitely room for criticism or perhaps a chance to look at the rules, petty comments like these are pointless. Especially when they end up making you look like a fool in the process. Although given how testing went for McLaren, they started this season with very little room to talk.I kinda wish they’d just shut up and get to work.

Agreed. Someone else on another website pointed out that Haas has literally been selling their equipment (the machining tools, not their own F1 designs) to other F1 teams and suppliers. If they really did take these off the shelf parts and reverse engineer a damn F1 car? And a Ferrari, no less? That’s one hell of an advertisement to their skills and equipment.

Well said. People act like they are just throwing together an F1 car like a Lego project. And that’s awesome to hear about Haas’ tools, they really are a quality operation in and outside of F1.

I’m a big fan of Magnussen and Grosjean too. People love to complain about them but they’re quick as hell and not pay drivers either. Everytime Alonso cries about Magnussen, my heart gets a little bigger.

I loved when they asked Gunther about Magnussen’s behavior and what they were going to do about it and he just kinda shrugged and said “I don’t see any behavior that needs changing”.

Gunther is the man, he’s the most straightforward person in the whole paddock and only slightly looks like a magician.
